I can't afford any programs I'd have to purchase to get rid of the five viruses it now has. Are there any programs I can try with a free trial or anything else to get rid of them? All I know is that what I have is a trojan. If you know of anything I can do please provide a few details on how to do it, I'm computer impaired!

Thank you so much.

You've been advised of a few decent antivirus; I use and recommend Avast.

But how do you know that you have a trojan to begin with?
Did you run a "free scan" that told you you have a trojan, and if so, what was the scan?
These things are important to know because some of those free scans are rogue programs themself.

Now since you don't have an antivirus, I'm assuming that you also don't have a good antispyware either. So I'd like to recommend Superantispyware, and A-Squared Free.
Superantispyware is (IMO) the best on-demand antispy scanner, and A-Squared is a multi-malware scanner. Both are effective against trojans, are free, and they fix what they find.

You can certainly attempt a web based scan from someplace like symantec.com or trendmicro.com (which will attempt to remove as well as detect)... however, a trojan is a program you specifically downloaded that contained some other malware... so clearly your lack of wanting to invest in the proper protection of your system with a proper security suite which only costs about 70 bucks is not limited to your lack of funds but is also evidence of a major problem with your level of security awareness. The one assessment you made that I agree with is that you are computer impaired.

Also, you claim to have 5 viruses on your computer. ..the fact that you seem to have a number yet claim to have no security is in and of itself suspect.

Get yourself properly protected and start backing up your data.

Good Luck
