humidifier would use less it is merely a fan blowing over water

a humidifier is about the same as running two light bulbs

the space heater has to run electricity thru metal threads to create heat and blow a fan over it

a space heater about the same as running 115 light bulbs

A humidifier. Electric heaters really suck the juice.
