Steve Earle.
He's at ease with any style, keeps it simple and has a knack for empathizing with the downtrodden. Even sad songs like "Oxycontin Blues" are a marvel.
For peace and relaxation, I recently discovered the Argentine folk music which is the forerunner to tangos, called milonga. It's usually a quartet or quintet, with accordian, classical guitar, violin and a cello. Beautiful music, mostly instrumental.

i don't experience a choose for music by means of fact I even have sufficient worry remembering issues; i do no longer choose distractions. Noise is analogous to rigidity and that i shouldn't upload any rigidity to a existence which Jesus died for. once I do hear the occasional music, scripture is on the market in rather of the lyrics of the music. in spite of the undeniable fact that, songs are the stuff that the universe is made up of. Even my DNA has a music and my coronary heart continually makes a joyous sound to the Lord. Songs could properly be in the infrasound spectrum, no longer uttered by using something which will properly be heard. I desire piano sonatas even with the indisputable fact that, once I do choose to hearken to something. Beethoven ideally.

Linz,
totally dig those guys from my Southern California; however, for me it is Mozart Symphonies 40 & 41 in C Major, Lucianno Pavarotti - Nessun Dorma, and if I am in a need - it's The Doors, Hendrix, or maybe even a little Frank Sinatra.
What can I say - I'm a geek.

This week I've been very uplifted by the theme song from the movie Inside Man with Denzel Washington. It's called Chaiya Chaiya (or something like that). It's an indian song. Very interesting. I don't know why I like it so much but I do.

All songs with a message lifts my spirit up when i'm tired, angry, and depressed. I sometimes listen to sad music like Martina McBride's Concrete Angel to make me feel like i'm actually pretty well off.
