Vitamins probably won't help, but they won't hurt either.
You may need to see a fertility specialist.
In my case, my PCOS is probably related to my weight. My doctor said that if I lose weight it may help my PCOS and make it easier to conceive. (I'm not assuming that you are heavy, it is just more common in heavy people).
For more information on living with PCOS, and treating it, follow the link below to WebMD. (I've found this helpful personally). One important thing to know is that this is often connected to insulin resistance and if you have PCOS you are at a greater risk of developing diabetes. PCOS can be sort of an early warning sign of that. (I wish I paid attention--now I do have diabetes).
My husband and I are not trying to conceive yet, but my close friend who also has PCOS has an 11 month old now! It took a few years, but she did get pregnant without fertility treatments.
I hope this helps and good luck!

PCOS is described as a hormonal imbalance that inhibits ovulation. If you don't ovulate, you can't get pregnant. There are prescriptions that help with ovulation. No over the counter vitamins though.
If you have been trying to get pregnant for at least a year and no luck, you should either go to a highly recommended OB/GYN or a reproductive endocrinologist.
I went to an OB that I knew nothing about and they told me I had PCOS, but then I went to a reproductive endocrinologist who told me PCOS is just a diagnosis the OB/GYN gives when they don't know what is wrong. I'm in the middle of testing now to find the problem.
Point being. You need to discuss it with someone to find out what the problem is if you really want to get pregnant, but don't waste time or money with Drs that don't know what they are talking about.

You could very well be pregnant or it would be your interval appearing up once more as a result of your PCOS. You should get an hpt. If your pregnant it would surely show up in an hpt with the aid of now. I am hoping you get a BFP! And despite the fact that it usually is difficult to get pregnant with pcos, consider, it's not unattainable. So that you very well would be pregnant. Plenty of child dust to you! :)

Yes, PCOS can cause infertility. I have it as well and I had to see a Reproductive Endocrinologist in order to get pregnant. First you need to find out if you are even ovulating. Contact an RE or an OB/GYN. Don't worry...having PCOS does not mean you can't get pregnant...it just means you might need some outside help. Good luck to you!

YES-PCOS causes infertility. I had it too but thank god I have 3 beatiful children. A 9 year old and 4 year old twins. I found out I had PCOS when I couldn't get pregnant with mt first child. I went to see a RE doctor and he put me on Metformin. And I took clomid to help me ovulate. I wasn't getting my period normal. I got pregant after 3 months on clomid!!! They sell a ovulating kit to see when you are ovulating! I had a harder time with my second pregnancy. I had to go to a specialist and do the infertility shots. That's how I got twins. Clomid didn't work that time. Stress has alot to do with it too. If you want more info- email me at roguerre@sbcglobal.net. I went through it all. GOOD LUCK!!!!!
