My anti-virus has found 2 infected files that have been quarenteed. What do I do now? I only have 2 options:
Delete File Permantly
Restore file

I don't think I want to restore file because I can not fix it. If I delete it, will that take care of the infection?

Yes, you would delete them. Restoring them would infect you.

The reason to show them in quarantine is so that you will know what files they are... incase they are needed for programs to run... especially your operating system.

So, I would recommend you make a note of what they are and if it is simply a document then just delete it... if it is a system file, you may want to look it up online to figure out what program it came from so that you can reinstall it from safe backup or safe disc.

Good Luck

If the infected files has already been put in your antivirus safe, you can either leave the file there, or you can delete the file. Either way you will be safe. Why would you want to restore a file that is infected your pc.
