None it benefits the many Israeli people working in our government and media.
It benefits the government because if they keep control over Israel they have a permanent base in the middle east for control

I don't think there is unconditional support of Israel. Bush is dragging the Israelis back into the peace process by means of carrot and stick. If the Israelis had their way, they would live with status quo.
