Okay I don't know about those others, but BIG BIRD did NOT give illegal campaign contributions in 1973 or any other year during that time.

No it was actually the 2000 election, and only "The Count" was involved, in Florida.
Apparently he was a spy for the Bush administration, and his miscounts put an idiot in office.
The aformentioned Muppets were not involved.
