This answer depends on the age of the...erm...answerer.

However, in accordance with my definition of "old", 35 is NOT AT ALL old.

My definition of an 'old person' can be broken down into two subcategories. The of the physical and that of the mental.

Physical- Your body begins to break down and you become much more susceptible to disease. Of course, one's body begins to break down after sexual prime, which is 18-30 year s of age, however the degree of 'brokenness' is not very noticeable until around 65, so someone who is 35 years has a good 30 years to go until age -substantially- catches up with their body

Mental- This is much more difficult to define. Although the state of someone's body begins decline after the age of 30, someone's mind doesn't wither until about 70 or after. My grandma is 80 and enjoys crosswords, museums, books, and all other forms of entertainment which is associated with the mind.

So basically, one can see that 35 is not old, and that the word 'old' is truly just a descriptor given to bring about the sense of growing age, a time when one can no longer enjoy what the world has to offer, because of mental of physical limitations.

Of course in order to apply 'old' to someone, you would need to know what that person enjoys. If you enjoy running track, and scoring top in every race, then at 35 and beyond you will begin to feel 'old', because of course you won't be able to win these races with loss of stamina attributed to older age. However, if all you enjoy is the sense of community associated with a large track meet, then this will not end with age, and therefore you won't feel 'old' at 35.

So what I'm trying to say here is that it is extremely relative, the term 'old', and being 15 years old, I think 35 is not old at all...hell, my parents are 50 and I don't view them as old, because THEY STILL ENJOY LIFE.

That was the long answer...the short answer is- No, I don't think 35 is 'old'.

Hope I helped =)

I do not feel that 35 is old. I am 24. I would classify it as hot...I've had several crushes on 35 yr olds.
I think 55 is the start of old, so from the looks of it, you still got some "young years" ahead of you.

I don't think that 35 is old. I work with seniors, so a lot of them are 80 and 90+. In relation, 35 feels very young.

I was 35 at one time and would not think about being old. I did think about old age when I was in my teens and at that time I had asked the Good Lord to pick me up when I hit 50. I used to see people of that age have such a difficult life and some be so alone, I did not want to live like that.
In another month I will be 59 and I still play volleyball twice a week, I prefer doubles. I like to hike and have not been to a doctor in a long time. I look in the mirror and wonder who that person is because it looks kind of old, but inside of me, there is so much desire to live, to give and love. I look at my father who is 87 and think, I have the potential to live another 25 years. I pray I will always have the spirit of God who lives in me and see the positive of all things given me. May I overlook and get up from my down falls and continue to learn how to appreciate the day that has been added to me. May love always permeate your life so the flower of youth blooms in your heart.

I am 16 and 35 is extremely old as it is more than double my age. I think by 35 you should be starting to mature otherwise you will just look like an idiot who is trying to be young still.

35 is NOT old! I will be there in two years, but there are days when I feel old. You are as old as you feel. People are living much longer these days. So 60 use to be really old, but things are changing!
