When my son was sevrely burned 7 years ago, all my "invisible Friends" on the internet prayed for him and kept himin their thoughts. He had a miraculous recovery. I don't hold too much faith in the power of prayer since I am an atheist but I do believe in the power of positive thinking...especially in large groups!
My son does believe in God so maybe the prayers worked because he believes.
