I am really confused with the whole madeleine thing. Yes its been discussed to death, but what, considering all the media coverage is actually being done except selling newspapers and 'raising funds' I am confused as to whether anyone is actually doing anything REAL... If it was my daughter, and I had the money they've had donated, I would have special Services on the case pronto? is anyone really investigating, and has it been to little too late?

Robert C, it is just that sort of attitude which allows Islam, Aids, Palestine, etc to become what it becomes. Is it so wrong to want things done differently? do we all have to sit and take it up the Ar$e like true brits?

There is very little chance now I think of finding her alive. She disappeared in May... and that is 7 months ago. I don't believe that anyone would successfully keep her hidden from the world for that long. She has passed away. We all believe it, the Portuguese Police believe it too and so does the English Police.
That Spanish firm of investigators are as useful as cat's pi_s. First they assured us that they were within days of finding the kid... they were sure she was in north Morocco. Now they are sure that Murat and his girl-friend had something to do with it. I just wish they would shut up and went back to Spain. Then that Tanner woman "saw" a man carrying a child conveniently wearing pink pyjamas by a man who conveniently looked like Murat.
I think it is time to pray for Madeleine and for us to resign to the fact that whoever hurt that kid will rot in hell.
Nothing much is being done because there isn't much more that can be done.

Crime experts world wide will tell you, that unless there is a solid lead or evidence within the first 24 hours, the trail goes cold. The police have an open case , but that's about all. All credible leads have been exhausted.

i don't know what is being done....

it seems that not much at the moment - but it all happened seven months ago now, and there has been so much coverage to muddy the waters that i don't think that there is much hope of resolving the case one way or another...

a shame for the child .......

Who cares???

There isn't this much effort for all the other kids that have gone missing over the years. She has/had rich parents that can afford to do what ever they want.

Would you care if my dog went missing??? I would, i value my dog over any child any day of the week.

Its her parents problem and i wish the papers, tv etc would get over it and spend some time on real news

If we had all been you, the little girl would have been found...Palestine would be Disneyland-Middle-East....Islam would be a religion for bingo players and aids would be curable with aspirin.

Grow up.
