Why do they start crying when they are tired instead of just going to sleep like a normal person? Also, why do they think it's ok to urinate and defecate whenever they feel like it?

Because they don't know any better. Since they can't talk, crying is their way of telling their parents that something's wrong, or they don't like something. It's perfectly okay for babies to urinate and defecate in their diapers whenever they want. When they're old enough to understand and grasp the concepts, they'll be potty trained.
Remember, you were a "stupid" baby once, too. Although from your question, sounds like the IQ hasn't risen much.

Babies cry because that's the only way they tell us something is making them uncomfortable, like being tired. As an adult, I will use the washroom when I feel like it, when I have the urge to go.

Wow... how can you be so stupid??? Babies don't know how to think yet. It's all feeling. If they feel they wanna poop or sleep or just cry the whole freakin day. At least they have an excuse for being like that.

Lets see, their brain isn't fully developed to answer your first question second, the crying comes from insecurity,your baby needs to be held by you, he or she is used to hearing your heart beat,and third you have to train your baby on the bathroom duties, that doesn't happen till they are 2 or 3 yrs old. Think about it for a moment, do you think you were fully trained when you were born??

YOU were a baby once too. They do not think it's "ok" to go to the bathroom whenever they want to, they do not know any better yet. Talk to your mom about how many times she had to change you, then maybe you'll realize how ignorant these questions are.
