The 15th amendment gives all citizens of the united staetes the right to vote. So why is an act required so that african americans, latinos and other such minorities can exercise our right to vote. I am a young african american high school study and I would realy like some worthwhile answers to my question

There is no such act. This is an Internet myth.

If you're studying politics in high school, get your information from text books, not from websites that are just trying to whip up racial hatred.

It's not. There is some type of act out there that has been e-mailed to me from time to time, that must be renewed because it expires every few years, and people who don't understand it think it is the reason nonwhites can vote, but it's not. the 15th Amendment does that all by itself.
