Hamlet had ending that was appropriate for the genre of tragedy. Death of Hamlet was even more effective because Hamlet was not a villain instead he was all but bad. On the other hand, Macbeth’ death actually helped the play turn in to the happy ending. Macbeth is sure it falls in to the category of the tragedy because of so many deaths were presented in the play, but it lacks the effectiveness and impact on the audience to believe that the play is tragic.
