A kilometre is 1000 metres.

The metric system has several prefixes.

kilo - 1000
mega = 1000000 (ie 1 megaohm = 1000000 ohms)
giga = 1000000000
milli = 0.001
micro = 0.000001
nano = 0.000000001

I don't know what a killameter is but a kilometer is 1000 times longer than a meter. In SI, you have you basic units like meter and gram. Then you add prefixes to them. For example, kilo means 1000. So a kilometer is 1000 meters and a kilogram is 1000 grams.

Absolutely. A dead meter is much shorter than a living meter. Much, much shorter.

A KILOmeter OTOH, is a lot longer. 1000 times longer, that is.

If you meant kilometer, it is equal to 1000 meters.

If not, you're on your own.
