Exactly what would most of us know about the normal after shooting a nail in our wrist. The accident is not normal.

You probably hit a nerve that is still causing pain.

This is not normal. The nail may have disrupted the nervous structure of your wrist. First, let your job know about your pain as they may have to foot the bill and remind them of your injury. Their workers compensation insurance will take care of this. They may refer you to a company doctor or you can go to your primary doctor and make sure your work injury is documented by him/her. He/she may have to refer you to a neurologist or orthopedic doctor for further evaluation. Don't wait or your injury may get worse and you will have to pay for the health bill and not be able to work. Good luck.
