they are Convict Cichlids i have striped and some pink convicts as well

Only if you can keep the temperature consistently above 75 degrees (day and night) with a fairly stable pH (which depends on the species and its origins)... Your best chance for a large Cichlid in a large, unheated pond, would be a Texas Cichlid, but really they would be too aggressive to mix with much else... You'd be better off just getting a heater.

EDIT: Convicts are going to need warmer year-round temperatures than you are likely to experience, so you will definitely want a heater... Also, be prepared for TONS of fry...
