He has good potential, although he isnt really young anymore.
He's a decent shooter... who likes to shoot. He's a great passer, and sometimes does look to pass-first... but he likes to shoot as well, and can get trigger-happy at times. So overall, he has the stuff to be a very good PG in the league (great handles, very good passer, pretty good court vision, etc.)... but I guess it's his decision making that is still questionable. Plus, he's injury prone... and his defence isnt anything to boast about.
But he's been playing pretty well this year, although still a bit inconsistent. This might be his best season in his almost-decade career. I'd give Tinsley a 6/10 rating or something... just because he has flashes of good games. He just really needs to learn and achieve more awareness in his game; make better decisions.

He is a good fantasy player to have. good production and he could be drafted in the late mid rounds. Actually he has been a good player for a while, but has been injury prone.

he used to be good, but hes old and always gets injured, and doesn't seem to play as hard any more. So yea he sucks.

He is a great back up point guard.
