Constantly. And don't you get up really quickly and hope no-one has noticed? Did that once with blood pouring from a cut lip - er, the 'no, I'm fine, honestly' didn't really wash on that occasion.

Only........all the time!! Once I was watching my daughter while she was practicing softball and her coach asked for a parent to help out. Of course, I leap up and volunteer. I was on the field for maybe 5 minutes when some young girl hit the ball way over my head. I was wearing sandals not expecting to be on the field. I ran backwards in a hard dash to catch the ball and slid in the mud. I caught it but I just lay there embarrassed beyond belief. Everyone, including the other parents came running toward me. I quickly got up and said, "Oh, I'm fine." I swear, I thought that I had broken bones that I wasn't even aware I had. lol I spent the next two days recovering only to have the head coach call and ask me to help her coach the rest of the season. I said, "Well sure!!"

I don't think she would have asked if she had known that it took me about 10 minutes of crawling to answer that phone call.

Yes, especially when I was a kid. An elderly Uncle (98), slipped backwards when he tried to step on an open backed bus, and fell backwards hitting his head on the pavement. He died. I wonder how long he would have lived if he hadn't have fallen. He was quite fit for his age.

All the time, baby!!

The worst was when I slipped down the stairs and bruised by backside. The bruise was HUUUUGE and spread across both cheeks! I've been to S&M clubs and come out with less!

I was on way to a ballgame once and was walking down the steps from the BART (subway) station, turned to talk to someone, missed a step and broke my ankle. I still managed to drag myself to the game (a doubleheader) and drag myself home before getting it set the next day...Oh, this was during my drinking days which are long gone now for obvious reasons.

I just did yesterday. Slipped over the dog and wrenched my shoulder when grabbing a chair.
