It can be hard sometimes. I am trying to stop being angry with a person, too. The book I am reading says to forgive, try to imagine good things happening for the person you are mad at. Do this over and over until the resentment dissolves. Also, praying for the person till you mean it is supposed to work as well.

Sounds like your still angry and I am not going to tell you to forgive and forget something I know nothing about like why your angry with this person, you might have good reasons! let them stew in it a while until your absolutely sure your ready to forgive and forget. Sometimes these things come back and bite you in the A** so don't let them off the hook because you feel bad for being angry, make sure they know you mean business.

First you have anaylze why you are angry with this person.
Second, reflect where you have been right or wrong.
Third, talk with the person that did you wrong.
Fourth, come to an agreement.
Fifth, If you do not come with any agreement, then simply that person doesn't want to talk or see you.
My recommendation is for you to give the first step and everything else will follow.

Yes, pray about it. I went through this with a woman at my church, she kept something a secret from me about the man I was dating and when I confronted her and told her how I was feeling she blew it off like our friendship didn't mean as much as I thought. I didn't speak to her for years, even after the bf was long gone. I asked for other people to pray for me because I couldn't forgive her on my own. Within the last year I have actually made myself speak to her, I don't think I will ever trust her or have a close friendship with her again but I lost the anger. Thank God.

People have rights in America. Although, some person may be (may have been perturbing) wrong--it could be distracting to give them "more power." Subtlely, remember that not acknowledging a rediculous argument may present more problems. Those people represent an opinion; even if success is found as a "laughing-stock."

Yes, but it isn't easy. Put yourself in their shoes and realize that they're only human. I try to do that and make it seem not so personal and then I'm able to forgive easier. I never forget though.

If you can talk to them and come to an agreement on the issue. GREAT! If not forget forgive yourself acknowledge any wrong doing on your part and move on.
