I was looking around online, and didn't have much luck. What I am trying to find is a space heater for garage (workplace) for the cold months. The heater has to be flameless and sparkless, as I'll be working with a lot of solvents in the garage. (Remodeling a ski boat during the winter)
Anyone in Y!A have experience with the type of heater I'm looking for? Recommendations?

I personally use the Delonghi Oil filled radiator heater. It sometimes get so warm I have to turn it down. It does not have any open elements and is very efficient.

You need a through the wall heater. They have a sealed combustion chamber, vent and take in fresh outside air through the side wall.
I don't think an oil filled will heat a garage in winter. A 12,000 BTU kerosene heater wouldn't heat mine.
