I want to be the one to say that Carmelo has been over shadowed by LeBron since they came into the league. In Carmelo's first year he took the Nuggets to their first playoff birth in 8 seasons. LeBron didn't even make the playoffs and still got MVP. Carmelo was robbed, just how he was robbed of his All Star appearance until 2007. In 06 Carmelo was the leading scorer of the NBA until the Knicks/Nuggets brawl. Not to mention that Melo also plays alongside the 3rd leading scorer in NBA history (AI). Carmelo is a better offensive threat than LeBron. Right now Bron Bron averages 5 more points and plays almost 5 more minutes a game than Carmelo. Both extremely talented players but Bron is a better passer and rebounder and Melo is the better scorer.

i think he can be the best oure scorer in hte league, but i would still give it to kobe. Melo has the abilities to be the best pure scorer, he can post you, he can shoot over you from anywhere, he can take it to the hole, but then again kobe can do the same, but better. Melo is different cuz he can play that style and he can play the coming off the screen take a jumper, rip hamilton style also. He's got a lot of ways to score. But as of right now, he's not the best pure scorer.

He is one of a handful of elite players in the NBA but to say he is a better scorer than Kobe is a stretch. Kobe has out scored him every year he has been in the league and there is nothing that leads me to believe it will be any different this year.

Anthony has not been playing well this year. The best scorer is Kobe Bryant or Lebron james.

I believe it's LeBronJames at the moment (Maybe not he's out with injury). Maybe Kobe but he's not pushing it nowadays... since their winning with this brand new offensive scheme. Plus Charles is a known Kobe critic so he won't give the title to Kobe.
Carmelo is a good scorer and is kind of struggling right now with his rhythm I think A.I. is carrying the team right now.

I think that lebron is the best scorer. He's averaging over 30 points a game. Carmelo's good, but not as good as lebron.

no melo is 2nd to kobe look both players can shot outside shot well and drive to the net at anytime they want i don't think lebron is that great of a shotter thats him and d-wades probelm melo and kobe stand out because they can score at any time they want
