that depends farmie, you never said where or rather what part of your life is in a rut, your marriage, is it your sex life, or your life in general..... i suggest you start doing new things all around, work on being more spontaneous with your wife, romantic dinners, or talk a long ride with her or go out in your back yard have a ton of candles lit with a nice warm blanket and some food and drink. a place to sit and watch the stars, a back rub or even a movie with just the two of you, if it's the sex life well do some romantic things as well and experiment a little( no I'm not talking about threesomes or anything like that. take time for yourselves too, enjoy each others company but enjoy time apart too and have some family nights as well. Try new things that you never even thought about doing you may find you actually like it, maybe painting or just packing up and going on a long drive somewhere you've never been, etc. hope this helps my friend and please cheer up HUG HUG. bye bye , if you want to talk further you know where to find me, come to my home page and say you want to talk , then I'll get the message and reply. I hope my suggestions has been helpful take care and god bless you and your family.

Read an inspirational new book and take notes
Go on a mini vacation if you can afford or change of scenery even if its a drive a few miles away to get away from home and work :))))

Go see a funny movie to make you laugh
call a friend who you have not spoken to in a while....

Go to a nice dinner with family
be grateful and count your blessing from God every day that you are alive and your family is well
buy some new music and dance all night long and sing to hehehe
Be present in the now and go from there whatever it is that has made your life in a rut except it and then act upon it in the NOW best wishes always Farm :)))

well, I'd of course suggest reading my book and critiquing it-which I think you'd be really good at, by the way- but you already said no. So.... Plan B take a dance class. learn a dance. There are many benefits to dance! It's just hard enough to keep you busy. And... it might impress your lady!!
You should research what is available in your area.
