The Bill of Rights refers to the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution. They were ALL ratified more than 200 years ago. I don't consider that a 'current event'. Are you asking about current court cases that concern the Bill of Rights? The biggest one that comes to mind is the decision by the US Supreme Court to hear a case related to the DC handgun ban. This would concern the meaning of the 2nd amendment (the right to keep and bear arms).
