I agree with you completely.
Merry Christmas does not offend anyone, it doesn't even offend atheists. (Some atheists even celebrate Christmas!) We have the right to celebrate Christmas and call it what it is. I can and will say it however I like and as much as I like! It is part of our right to free speech. If anyone wants to be politically correct or just annoying they can bleat out the popular "happy holidays". There is no legit reason to say happy holidays. Just say happy Hanukkah, new year,Kwanzaa...

Christmas ability Christ's Mass. contained in the Catholic Church, Mass is the liturgical re-presentation of Christ's sacrifice on Calvary, and we undergo in concepts the saint or the shape this is on the Church calendar for that day contained in the Mass, so the observance of Christ's delivery grew to change into usual as Christ's Mass/Christmas. There are different -mases on the Catholic Church calendar to boot. i comprehend of in basic terms 2 others, yet there is better: September twenty 9th is Michaelmas, the ceremonial dinner of St. Michael the Archangel, and February 2d is Candlemas, the ceremonial dinner of the Presentation of Christ contained in the Temple (Luke 2:22).

Well anyone that thinks there is something negative about you saying "Merry Christmas" has issues, because it has positive meaning. But what's so bad about including everybody (those who celebrate xmas or not) and throw out a Happy Holidays or a Season's Greetings?

I really don't care what you say. In the past, I worked in a mall that had many Jewish patrons, so you never really knew if they were Christians or not. So we just told everyone to have a happy holiday. It was mostly the customers who wished people a Merry Christmas. Funny enough some of the those who did wish people a merry Christmas were Jewish!

Did someone tell you that you, personally, can't say Merry Christmas?
You can say what you want.
The government and schools need to stick to governing & teaching.
Businesses, if they are wise, should be considerate of all of their customers.
But, you & your church & your friends can say Merry Christmas all you like. I'm not sure where you got the idea that you couldn't.

I'm with you Rosey. I was at the K-Mart the other day and an elf came by and handed me coupons and said Happy Holidays, I thought what ever happened to Merry Christmas. I still say it to whom ever will listen, and that won't change.

Why should anyone even feel compelled to say "Merry X-mas," "Happy Hannukah," "Seasons Greetings," or any other worthless slogan? If it's not such a big deal, then there is no need for you to complain.

Because towards the end everyone will become offended by everything, it says so in the Bible and look...it's happening now.
