Oh sorry. probably should have clarified. I need games where you are actually against humans.
But yeah, resistance is an awesome game, nice to see we agree :)

I know that Resistance Fall of Man has both real and unrealistic weapons.
There is one gun in Resistance called the Auger that can create a force field and can block gunfire for about 6 seconds. Also that same gun can shoot through walls and any structure.
Plus there are a couple of other futuristic guns in the game, but I just gave you an example of just one and how it works.

Halo 3, Bioshock, Half-Life, Fear, most FPS games. One non-M rated game that immediatley keeps sticking in my mind is the Ratchet & Clank series.
