You know this is really cruel for everyone to make fun of such a poor animal that had no fault except that this was gods will.
There is a saying I like what goes around comes around. So really don't make fun think of what if it was your friend or family member that they were born like this or changed to this. Would you love them any less because of what they look on the out side. I hate to say but I think that a huge majority of people out there have really low self esteem and need to grow up. I used to believe that we as Americans are the best loving kind people in the world compared to the others but I guess were not different than those cruel people in the middle east who throw a rope on a dogs neck and tie it to a rock and throw um in lake because they are either too old or have misbehaved. Honestly how sad and depressing.

I don't have a problem petting him! He may be ugly on the outside, but I'll bet you, he's got a heart of gold, on the inside!
To Gemma J! I really hate to disappoint you, but this dog is real, and was voted the worlds ugliest dog!

Oh dear, it made me want to cry. at 14 the poor old thing was ugly because he was obviously ill and not particularly well looked after, and was by the look of it suffering badly from cataracts as well. Apparently he died shortly after the photo was taken so his suffering is at an end. No I don't think he was any more ugly than any other sick elderly and badly treated creature and all I felt when I looked at him was a deep sense of sadness, bless him.

Awww, he has so much character! Bless his heart. He IS the ugliest dog I have ever seen. An old neighbors dog one time had the mange, and that dog would be 1st runner up.

For some reason I couldn't get the picture. Sure wish I knew what the dog looked like. I sometimes think I have dumb *** computer that won't let me see neat stuff

He looks like Smeagol from the Lord of the Rings!! Or a gargoyle! Poor thing, I still hate that it passed away. I wouldn't pet him though!

I'm weird. I think he is so ugly that he is adorable. I have yet to see a dog that is truly ugly. I do feel bad for him.
PS. he WAS the world's ugliest dog.
