No one told me, I figured it out by age 7 when I realized it was my Mom's handwriting writing the note from Santa.

It was a sad dreary December afternoon, it was about 20 below outside. The postman delivered my letter to Santa, which read, "Return to sender...no such number...no such name..." I was fifty years old at the time.
