That happens to everyone. I was the fat girl in high school and I tried to wear heals one day and fell in front of everyone in the lobby. I was embarrassed big time but I got over it. Trust me.. people don't usually remember that stuff for long, they'll forget about it as soon as someone else does something stupid.
If people mention, laugh it off, whatever it is. Its always healthy to be able to laugh at yourself and it gets you through the day.
(Btw... trust me, after highschool everything is different.)

If I felt embraced I would probably wonder what someone was hugging me...
If I felt EMBARRASSED I would probably feel like hiding or something.

Short confident quips often saved me from showing my true colors or helping me smooth out an embarrasing moment....
If you answered a question with what seemed like a dumb answer- Just say in fun "I knew that - oh silly me" Let gas laugh and say your friends name "Jasonnnnnn or how could you?" If you make light of the situation - it may ease your tension or anothers. I find that people that can make light of themselves are the most kindess and fun folks.
