I can't answer for anyone else but I can tell you what I see in my parents.. I see cheerful speech every minute of everyday.. I see love genuinely given and received.. I see smiles and hand holding and lots of touching. I hear kind words and lots of favors done ( without them being asked for or talked about ) ... I see love. I see real love. Founded on a true belief in God first.

It begins with a committment to Jesus Christ and agreeing that divorce is not an option. That doesn't mean it is easy, but anything worth having takes a committment. I heard the best definition of love at a retreat...Love is the choice to sacrifice for the good of others and is motivated by God.

Twenty-four years…it hasn’t seem so difficult…we love each other…we need each other…we enjoy our time together…it’s great. We are both Christians…we include prayer in our lives…we pray for each other and our children. We put our trust in the Lord and know he will keep us on the right path.
