I saw Crash and was very intrigued at how they made all of the story lines combine. Very emotional movie and no matter how many times I have seen it, the MAJOR scene with the little girl and her Dad (with the "impenetrable cloak") ALWAYS makes me bawl like a baby.
August Rush was just an amazing movie ... very inspiring, incredible soundtrack and talented actors. Freddie Highmore was absolutely striking in his portrayal of August ... and the music in the movie is awesome. I am a big fan of the singer/songwriter named Chris Trapper who wrote the song that Jonathan's character, Louis, sings about Lyla ("This Time"). I have seen that movie twice and will see it many more times before it leaves the theatre. I have the soundtrack and absolutely love it ... have been listening to it non stop in my car and at work since I got it on the 16th of Nov.

Yes - it's about a boy that grows up in an orphanage (I think?) and music is his passion, almost like a "calling". It's a typical rags-to-riches story of how his love for music helps him emerge from a lonely boy to a famous musical talent. Meanwhile, you learn about his parents' past and how they've changed through the years, how their lives influenced his and how their shared passion leads them towards each other. I tried not giving too much away, just watch it and enjoy! My favorite part was the boy ("August"), he's the one from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Finding Neverland. Adorable (:

i went to see august rush last week, it was the most amazing film! i was speechless at the end! i've downloaded all the songs!
Crash is a very moving film but in a very different way to august rush!
2 fntastic films!
going 2 see the golden compass 2nyt! hope it lives up 2 its hype!
