An earthworm has a Latin name that means (in effect) tube. Then, there is its digestive tract that goes from its mouth to its... nether end. That's another tube inside the first one.

because it is literally a tube (the bodily functions) within a tube (its body) and its tube shaped... have you ever had to disect one? ew
