I live ALONE (Hey -- FINALLY! So great to be an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree), and every week I spend around $75 for Groceries (and I do eat well on this amount of $). I go once a month for the stuff that I can freeze or is non-perishable, and weekly for the perishables.

4 people. 2 Adults and a 5 and 2 yr old.
For Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, and Dessert we spend about 320 a month. Roughly 80 a week (thats at walmart) If we go anywhere else you need to ad another $20 to that bill. I do weekly shopping cause if I do it bi-weekly I always tend to forget something or the food runs out before the 2 weeks are up.
I use a lot of coupons and shop the sale ads only. Some weeks are higher of course cause if there is a good sale I stock up. Like this week a local grocer had Tyson bacon 1lb thick cut on sale for 1.50 so I buy like 5 packages of that.
But generally it averages to 320-340 a month. (oh and the includes non-food products..toilet paper, toothpaste, bleach, etc.)

3 including myself. I'm 24 & my roommates are 26 & 50. I don't know how much we spend on groceries total since we each buy our own. I figure about $100 - $150 for myself alone but that's enough to last me a while. I don't shop often, maybe 1 - 2 times a month unless I'm gonna make something specific that requires goin out & buying extra stuff.

It's my husband and me, and 2 big dogs, 4 old cats. I pretty much only shop at Walmart and Petsmart, so it's hard to say what I spend on groceries, b/c at WM I get like everything except pet food all at once. But I would guess $50/week. I buy a lot of crap, premade stuff, and we eat out a lot.
