I do not know whether you are from US or Europe or UK, but recent official figures from the UK Police themselves state that there is no significant difference between accidents where cameras are now placed compared with before.

It has also been claimed that in fact on roads where there was previously no deterrent, that the accident rate has gone up because of the introduction of Cameras.
