I've a sony vaio laptop. Is it easy to upgrade the ram myself? Coz the current 1gb RAM is too slow for window vista.

I'm more concern about how is the easiness to plug in the additional ram to my laptop. I know desktop is easy but i've not try on laptop yet.

Yes, just can go to http://www.crucial.com and use their tool to find out what kind of RAM (memory) your computer needs. They can even test your system and tell you what you need and have in the computer (each slot).

If it has an expansion slot for more RAM, it's easy - go buy the right stick and pop it in. Bear in mind that for many computers all the RAM sticks have to have the same rating - so for example if you have a 512M now you'll need to either replace it with a 1G, or get 2 1G sticks so they'll match.
If your card doesn't have an expansion slot, you're pretty much out of luck.
Or, you could ditch the Vista and go back to XP.
