LOL. Shivering bells, I love it.
Sleighrides can be a lot of fun, especially if it is around 30 degrees, and snowing. You dress for the weather, and bring a blanket to put over your lap. A thermous of hot chocolate, with a little Peppermint Schnaaps, and you are on for some fun.
I miss the hush of a new fallen snow, it makes everything seem so peaceful, and if you are going down an old country road on a sleigh, with a lit up house here and there along the way. All you can hear are the soft beat of the horses hooves, and the sleighbells. It is absolutely Christmas Card perfect.
Those were the good old days......before Christmas became such a commercial racket, lol.
To Pir 8: A hat, and a scarf to wrap around your face will keep those cheeks and ears nice and warm

not unless you are planning on auditioning for the next Rudolph the red-nosed (and red-cheeked and red-chinned and red-eared) reindeer ... ack, I hate windburn!
and riding in a one-horse open sleigh in the weather we're having how would just about have me looking like a boiled lobster for the next 2 weeks.

Probably not. Even if it had heated seats it would still be cold.
