I have been playing Runescape for about almost a year now. I have worked long and hard on the account i have. When i started playing i was stupid and broke rules resulting me to having 20.3 black marks and almost getting banned. Eversince then i have never broken another rule however, i am worried that jagex may mistaken me for real world trading when im simply giving my friend something for their birthday, christmas, or just something for them to borrow. I am somewhat rich so i like to usually give my friends gifts that cost about 1m in price. If jagex thinks im real world trading and give me a black mark, im done, i cant appeal or anything. Also, how about if my friend wants to give me a 1m+ item? Will get in trouble for that aswell? accepting a generous gift? The way jagex have been acting with these real world updates, im afraid they will just automatically assume im real world trading without having any real proof. What am i going to do? Any suggestions?

Okay, Jagex thouroughly looks through these types of things before banning or giving black marks. If you really were RWIT they would either ban or give you a black mark, if you wern't I wouldn't worry about it at all.

They have a detection system that detects RWIT, but even before banning those people they look at the account to see if the detection system has made any mistakes.

I really wouldn't worry about it at all, and even if it did happen to you, you would still get an appeal because everyone gets an appeal for every rule they break and you would just tell them, I gave this to my friend as a present. Could you please look into this report a little more thoroughly and get back to me. You always need to be nice with the appeals or else they wont work in the first place.

Sorry for going on for so long. I hope this helps :)

u can appeal if u get banned. did u give a lot of money? because trades involving large amounts of money r being tracked(trades involving 10m and above and trades involving discontinued items e.g. santa hats, party hats etc) if u didnt give a lot of money the chances of u getting banned r very slim. and by the way jack kevin is an idiot cuz jagex cant tell if u paid real world money for rs gold can they?? so if they see u give money for free they might think its real world trading, which is exactly wat the asker is saying. do u even bother to read the question before u answer??

OK first you get banned at 10 black marks. SO how did this happen? LOL Ok and this isn't called read world trading. Real WOrld trading is when you sell runescape gold for real life money.

Well, if you are giving something to your friend, and if Jagex thinks you are world item trading, then just send him an email about your friends birthday, and if he doesn't believe that, then let your friend email him.

Its very hard to get reported for real world tradeing, because theres almost no way to prove it. If I were you I would be worried about getting your account hacked, like me.

Just giving someone an item isn't enough to get you banned there has to be some other reason for them to suspect you.
