If you turn your pc back in time, you will have problems with your internet provider. (Doubt if your pc will work).

You must be talking about "system restore". You go to start, accessories, system tools, and then system restore. You will see blocks that will show you what date you can restore your system back.

Why, restore you system as you will only get more adwaare. You need to download a free version of Superantispyware.

This program will find what all other miss.

You could try System Restore but...

System Restore was never intended to be used for malware removal of any kind. It must always be used with caution and the restore point (date) must be chosen very carefully.

The chances are good that you will end up RESTORING some malware that you had previously removed.

Sure, System Restore MIGHT be able to remove some recent adware, but at the same time it may re-infect your computer with some older malware or virus that you had already removed.

Remember, System Restore will restore the bad as well as the good. Choose a date very carefully!

I think what you want to do is do a system restore to a point in time before you started surfing the internet to sites that dump adware poop on your system. This MIGHT be possible but you also might have to use the recovery CD and start over. BEFORE you do that, get a GOOD virus/adware/spyware program (NOT a FREE one) and run it. These can usually save you a lot of time and headache as they are designed to solve this kind of problem and keep it solved.

Use system restore. If you have XP. Some virus' and malware can corrupt even that, so you may need to save your goodies to a disk, format and reinstall windows to kill it for sure.

PS Don't get norton, get g-data or kaspersky. G data has kaspersky and another together, killer combo! Norton is a fat hog on your system. Everyone hates it who knows the score!
