I don't want her to get sick or be uncomfortable or anything but I miss taking her for walks around our neighborhood. What do you think?

No, it's not too cold, just bundle baby up in the same amount of layers you would wear in that weather. I.e. if you wear a jacket and hat and scarf over regular clothes, you should give your baby a jacket and hat and blanket over regular clothes.

Cold doesn't get people sick, but if you are too cold, it can lower your immune system SLIGHTLY, increasing the symptoms of illness if you have already been introduced to an illness. Bundling your baby should be fine enough to pretect her from the cold.

46 is pretty balmy compared to the 30 degrees with a windchill of 20 we have right now where we live. Going outside during all but the coldest of weather is perfectly safe as long as you and your baby are dressed for the weather. If she has on a coat, hat, and mittens she should be just fine. Cover her with a blanket if you think she needs it. Cold weather does not make people sick and she should be quite comfortable with appropriate layering of clothes. I am sure she will love going outside.

This is the way I look at it. Dress your children in what keeps you warm. If you wear a scarf, hat, coat and mittens, put the same on your children. That's what I do. If you're warm then she probably is too. If its windy, throw a blanket over her legs to block it. Fresh air is healthy, it gets them out of the house where germs can linger in the winter time.

No, not at all! Just be sure that you bundle her up in a blankey! If it's windy try and keep the wind off of her!! 46 degrees isn't bad at all and she will be able to have bonding time with her mommy!

I think no. I just bundle my 13 month up and we go outside. She REALLY LOVES it and it is nice to get out of the house. Fresh air and being outside exploring is always good! BUT, you should really do what makes you feel comfortable.

If you can go outside, so can she. Layers are the most effective way of staying warm, so bundle your baby girl and have fun!!

It's never too cold if she's well-wrapped up.
