5 dollars by 2009, thats a little far fetched. Regardless of whose in the white house we'll still see an increase. At least with a Republican president our economy will grow and people will be able to afford it, not to mention we'll be safer from attacks.

It might, but if the Dems are elected we'll all get a tax increase so that there will be fuel subsidies to cover the increase as long as you only make 35k per year.

the price of gas has little to do with who is in office. remember that al gore comes from oil money. i predict that energy will overtake global warming on the world stage by that time.
