It was $1900 one day when I last saw it on the shopping channel (TV) but that was the day's show stopper. Day's later, I thought of buying it, but they raised the price. I called up dell, and they gave the same price (i think, not sure if they included the tax or not) I want it for myself since I want to be a gamer, and I download a LOT of music DAILY.

thanks responding.

I'm a Dell fan but here are my recommendations.

Go to the dell site and take a look at the XPS series of desktops. I think you'll find that you can "customize" one of the XPS desktops for less money and get the same tech capabilities. Check it out. I have an XPS 410 and it's really a good PC.

In any case I certainly wouldn't opt for the 20" monitor. There are 22" widescreen monitors with great tech specs out on the web for under $200. I think you'll save that much or more for opting out of the monitor and buying one on the web. Dell is a bit expensive on the "preipheral" components.

I just purchased a great 24" widescreen for $359 with all the latest tech specs. It was worth the money to me, but you may find that a 22" totally suits your needs. Try looking on http://www.pricewatch.com and http://www.pricegrabber.com These two sites will list the items by cheapest price to highest price and you can click on the item and review all the tech specs, plus both sites have vendor ratings as well.

Hope this helps.

You can get way more bang for your buck than that. Build your own, with a little homework. It's quite easy. Shop around. I think dell monitors tend to be way pricey, that may be jacking it up some.
You can build a monstrous computer for $2000 these days.

I don't see a video card listed. You will need a good video card to play the newest games.

It seems pretty pricey to me. Try building your own PC at Dell.com

edit: Sorry, I see the video card now. Still seems expensive though.
