If you change the hubby bit to sweetheart then yes,
Sometimes I just have to tell her what I've got her beforehand.

It's a sore point actually. I had it all planned to buy him a new electric toothbrush because his present one is on it's last legs. I researched it in "Which" magazine and on line to get the one that suited my budget and was good value for money.The day before my planned shopping trip to buy it , he came home from town and proudly announced he had bought himself a new one ! honestly I could have hit him !

Yes, its really annoying!!!!
I hate it when it slips out like that it totally spoils the moment just when things are getting heated up!!!!
