Definitely we can feel guilty for speaking the truth but not really be sorry we spoke our mind. We can be sorry for a word or action but not guilty.
After all tara j and crew and aliases are probably neither but yet are guilty and sorry just not feeling anything because they cannot feel. Catch my drift. Love ya Tracer for having guts enough to keep coming back attem.

My opinion. Yes. I think there is a big difference. I might be guilty of something but rarely feel guilty. I did it for a purpose. I can feel sorry because I offended but rarely feel guilty for the action. I would probably do it again if I had the decision to make

Yes, when I feel guilty about something it's because I knew it was wrong to do but I did it anyway.
Being sorry about something means that I did it but now regret that I did.

Sure like my daughter, I am sorry she has anger issues, that she is so bitter and twisted about her life, I feel sorry that she lives with that eating at her all the time - however she tries to blame me for her "rotten life" because I was a disabled single mother and she didnt get to have designer clothes, or all the perks her "rich" friends had - tough, I dont feel the least bit guilty about how she was raised or my parenting.
I love my kids and gave them everything I could, sometimes going without eating for up to 4 days because I couldnt feed all of them - so sorry for her, but no guilt here

Responsible for or chargeable with a reprehensible act; deserving of blame; culpable:
Sorry: Feeling or expressing sympathy, pity, or regret
You can be both guilty and sorry at the same time...but neither is required to feel the other.

I feel sorrow for many things in this world.
But, I don't feel guilt.
Now, if I step on your toe,
then yes I could feel sorry and,
a little guilty at the same time!

Feeling guilty is feeling sorry because it's your fault. Feeling sorry is just feeling sorry for someones situation you didn't cause.

Yes. There is definately a difference. Even though people do try and muddy the water.
Guilt is knowing you intended to do wrong. Feeling sorry is not knowing it would be a problem.

Feeling guilty implies you did something wrong. Feeling sorry is more about empathy for someone else.
