we were ttc our 2d baby for almost 13 months..
We tried everything in the book, bbt, opk,bd every 2nd/3rd day and month after month BFN...
This weekend passed i got my BFP and just wanted to share with you all what we did different....
on calendar day 10 i noticed i was very wet down there,so we had sex every day from then on till calendar day 17 i knew to stop then as my cervix had dropped...
I know alot of people say having sex every day will hurt your chances but we got pregnant 4 years ago doing this same thing after 7 mohths of trying every thing else.
Im not saying it will work but just that it might be worth a shot,
its worked for us twice...
good luck

Sex everyday is fine, if your husband/bf/partner has a normal sperm count, or no history of sperm abnormalities.

If a man has a lower sperm count or doesn't live healthy (smokes, drinks alcohol and coffee, doesn't exercise or eat balanced meals) it is suggested to try every other day to increase the sperm count, but for him not to hold it more than 5 days.

I'm not saying that once a day doesn't work, because it obviously does, but it's not good for men who have sperm issues.

Congratulations on your blessing.

First of all, Congratulations!!! i know how it feels to continuously try month after month and then finally you get a BFP and you are on top of the world! It's awesome, isn't it? I went through it with my 2nd child as well, and now we are trying for #3 and the first month was not a success. I am praying that it does not take as long this time.

Thank you so very much for the advise. That was very sweet of you to think of others and post advise. As for the spem count and sex everyday, the vast majority of men are fine with doing it everyday. There is a small minority with sperm count issues, but most men under 40 are very much willing and able to BD every single fertile day! :)

Thanks Again and Best Wishes to you!
