It's usually every 28-30 days but since it's your first period you probably won't have it regularly for about a year.

Okay, the average legnth of time between periods is 28 days. This being your first period, it is quite likely that you will be irregular for about a year, meaning, each cycle will be a different legnth. For some people, that means maybe a week. For others, it could be two or three weeks. It is not unusual to miss a period when you are first starting out either. Even when you even out, you probably will will not have your period every 28 days on the dot. As I said, that is the average, and most women operate under fewer or more days. Tha being said, you should get into the habit of writing on the calendar your start date for every period, that way, you can map your cycle and start getting an idea for when you should start. And carry around supplies at all times. For the first few months, you never know when it will start.

There is no way to know exactly. Everyone is different. It's based on about 28 days. If the one you started on November 19 was the first period you ever had, your next period may not start until (possibly) January. A lot of young ladies periods are very irregular that first year. It could take a while before you begin to have them every month. So, if you DON'T have one in December----don't panic!! You're fine.
But.......the next one may begin around December 17.

a period comes about every 28 days. when you first start it can vary a lot. sometimes it will be sooner sometimes later. but once it gets under control it will come every 28 days. At least mine does. I'm pretty much like clock work. I keep track of when i start on my calendar and just about 4 weeks later, to the day is when i start. Activity can affect it, what you eat can affect it. but i would expect it around the 19th of Dec. carry some pads/tampons with you and just be prepared. i would also carry an extra pair of underwear with you, just incase.

it should come around the same time every month but every female is different. It may not even come for the next few months. After a year or so it should become more regular (occuring at the same time each month) but for now you just may never know.....be prepared!! carry pads/tampons (whatever you use) with you at all times in a pocketbook, you will get your period when you are least expecting it and you do not want to be embarassed. If your period does regualte itself in a year then you should see you doctor.

It can be anything from half a month to a few months; if you've just started your period then it can be irregular for years to come =) that's just the way it is. As other people have said, every woman is different and every woman has their own signs that their period is coming (PMS - Pre Menstrual Syndrome). You may feel/look bloated, get stomach pains, feeling dizzy/nauseous - the list goes on. As you get your periods more regularly, then you will start to know how it feels, how much is a regular amount for you to bleed and what pains you get normally.
It's a pain to go through, but welcome to womanhood =)

Congrats, And usually it starts every 3 and a half to four weeks, but considering you just started, It may be a little off for the first 6 months to a year, You might start only every 2 months or twice a month even! Every womens body is different when it comes to this.

Breast feeding can sometimes stop the body from menstruating. It's nature's way of letting you take care of one child before getting pregnant with another; however, it's not an infallible form of birth control so you should still use bc. You will get your period again, probably when you cut back or stop breastfeeding. Contact your doctor just for peace of mind if you haven't gotten it at six months.

Well your young. Technically, I would say 28-30 days, but when you are young and just starting, your period may or may not skip around and be irregular. Give it a while before you start thinking in terms of regular. In the meantime, keep you a calendar and keep track of when you start. This will help you keep up with your period and determine when you are becoming more regular.

Your periods normal last up to seven days give or take a few, then you have a twenty one day break but its different for different people, I would write it down in a diary that way you can keep track of your cycle each month, your next period could be between the 8th and 10th december.
