This is an easy one. I have been to many, many places. From tropical paradise to mountain hideaways. The most stunning place that I can remember is Yosemite Valley. When you first come into the park you come through a tunnel. When you come out of the tunnel the entire valley opens in front of you. The view is tremendous with Half Dome and several water falls are visible. The river goes by just below and it is absolutely Idyllic. Every shade of green can be seen to all rims of the park and huge rock faces soar majestically into the sky all around. Huge trees add wonderful scents to the air and you really feel that you have entered paradise. The weather varies but usually it is sunny in the morning and then in the afternoon a cleansing rain sprinkles the valley. You just can't believe where you are. The sights, the sounds of the wind in the trees and the waterfalls and rivers, the smells of the pine trees and flowers of the meadow. God, it's just the best place on earth. I know. I have been to almost all of the 1000.

So that’s my opinion. As with all things that deal with perception, I am sure that other people will have their favorites. But this is definitely mine.

The Azores is the most beautiful place I have seen.
There is a lake at the top of the dead volcano that has blue water on one side and green water on the other. It is just a beautiful site. The people there are also friendly and the place is clean, clean, clean.

It depends on the person. To me I would say it was either standing on a snowy mountain side with snow falling all around and an American Eagle flew by. That was outside of Vail Colorado. But I have to tell you sitting in a a park in Paris France in the fall with the leafs turning colors was something money could never buy as well.

Costa Rica. It's an absolute paradise. It's got volcanoes, mountains, waterfalls, gorgeous beaches, rainforests, and some of the nicest people in the world.
