SAFELY meaning without exploding, its for my science class... it can't be anything with NaCl or H2O since the examples are already in the book, give me something very Interesting, I want a big chemical reaction but no explosion... Cuz I am gonna make an experiment but I dont want to blow somebody's head off....

Baking soda (NaHCO3) and vinegar (acetic acid CH3COOH) react to create sodium acetate, water, and a lot of CO2 *very* quickly, but still safely.

I can think of a very classic like middle school science chemistry experiment. Are you allowed to use Hydrocarbons or simple inorganic matter?

If you can use hydrocarbon adding white cane sugar to sulfuric acid dehydrates the sugar and forms a big chunk of carbon that will expand out of the container.

C12H22O11 + 11H2SO4 ---> 12 C + 11 H2SO4-H2O

it is fun to watch, but you have to be careful around the sulfuric acid.
