If so, what were the results? Did you relapse at all?

Yes.

When I unexpectedly found myself pregnant at 37 I was going through a 5th of bourbon every 6 days. I had been doing that for about 13 years. Thirteen years of alcohol induced brief affairs and one night stands and I found myself pregnant.

I wanted my baby so very much. I stopped drinking the day I found out I was pregnant.

After he was born, the thought of waking up with a hangover to a happy hungry baby was a deterrent.

I now drink occasionally. Wine with dinner and Margaritas with friends. I rarely even catch a buzz any more.

That baby, who saved my life, is almost 15 and 6'2".

I quit smoking and selling weed, I quit smoking weed 8 times have I ever relapsed before? Yea but you learn from you're mistakes in order to quit for good relapse is all a part of quitting you need to make mistakes. I quit selling weed once and haven't relapsed I've smoked for 5 years and sold weed just as long, I have an addicting personality and I really enjoyed doing those things but I do miss it but I don't want to go back. It's hard but if you ever want to quit any bad habits it can be done, I've been sober since April, quit selling almost 2 years ago.

Yes, smoking. I quit cold turkey 1 year and 10 days ago. No relapse yet, but that's not to say I didn't relapse the 20 times I tried to quit before that. Guess that's why they say: Practice makes perfect!

I quit smoking 'cold turkey' at the first and 17th of every month, until success. Haven't had a puff of tar for several years. Also gave up beer & liquor, and switched to red wine with absolutely NO relapses. Good question.

yes, smoking and drinking when i was pregnant. I wouldn't say I relapsed because it's not something I have to do or do every day.
