I sold Bare Minerals for 4 years. As long as you are using a high quality moisturizer( Kinerase, Murad, MD Skincare...not counter or over the counter brands) more mature skin looks great in the makeup. Plus, the makeup increases your skin hydration by77% and provides a 24/7 physical sunblock.

Well I'm not 40 (almost though) and I didn't like it. It made my face itch, and I have fairly oily skin...so therefore I want a completly matte look to a foundation...and bareminerals gives a soft glow finish, which I do not like.
But, with that said, I do know some older women who wear bare mineral and they look absolutely gorgeous!

My mom uses bare minerals make-up and she is 46 now she is already beautiful but it does enhance her beauty i think it makes her look finished so to speak, I personally don't use bare minerals because of the cost but i would if i could!

I absolutely love it, I don't think I'll ever use another kind. I'm 23 and it gives my skin an almost airbrushed look, but it doesn't look or feel heavy at all. Just make sure you apply it correctly, a little goes a long way!

I prefer Jane Iredale. Bare Minerals is too messy and makes my face too shiny. But, I do love mineral makeup. I'll never use traditional makeup again. Good luck. 2D

I hated it (I'm 34 now. I was 30 when I tried it) I noticed no difference except my face looked like it was caked with powder and I did the light sweeps like they said to, would not recommend it to anyone.

If you don't have dry skin. I wear it in the summer, but in the winter I'm too dry for the powder foundation.
