Thanks to the Atheists we have Happy Holidays and Season's Greetings in the stores.
Without Christ's Birth we wouldn't be having a Christmas. Those that says Screw Jesus will find out the hard way soon. I wouldn't say screw Jesus if I would be you.

I know a couple who celebrate Christmas.. they claim to be atheists all year round but then come December, up goes the tree and Christmas stuff all over their house? Honestly, I don't understand it. Someone mentioned above that they celebrate it, because Christmas isn't all about Christ anymore.. but it is. Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our lord. So why celebrate something you don't believe in? Just for the gifts?
I'm not atheist by the way, I'm catholic.

I celebrate Christmas because it's just a mass produced capitalist holiday in this country anyhow and I get time off work for it. There are fun colored lights posted up everywhere and half of our society doesn't even know what the original meaning of the holiday is anyhow. Not to mention it's the day before MY birthday. For that reason I celebrate Christmas and I just call it Xmas and say screw jesus.

why are Christians all whacked out over non Christians celebrating the holiday they stole from us in the first place...
of coarse we celebrate our holiday.... my question is why do you.... if we are so bad....Jesus was born in the summer... the bible says do not steal.... do not try to steal any more of our holiday traditions than you already have....

I do, as a family holiday. We simply talk about the various reasons this holiday is celebrated.

I celebrate Yule. As do all the Christians I know... Funny, huh? How they worship the old pagan ways for their holidays?

Yes. I do. It's barely about Jesus anymore...well, it really never was. Jesus was born in April.
