Ok last question on keylogging. I dont mean to post this much about 1 thing but I just want to be sure I have a keylogger before actually doing anything drastic. Does Spyware Track Down Keyloggers? I have AVG Spyware. If not, What does? And If I do have a keylogger how do I get rid of it? Thanks :)

A spyware detection utility will find a key logger that is loaded in software.

Be aware that there are hardware key loggers that a spyware detection program probably wouldn't find. I've seen one that plugged into your keyboard port on your computer, if you didn't know to look for it you would never know it's there.

Also, if someone is purposely trying to use a key logger on your computer some of the key loggers allow you to change the name, which would somewhat hide them from the spyware utility. The spyware detector would probably find it, it just won't be able to determine that it's a key logger.

KeyLoggers are labeled by Anti Virus scanners and Anti Spyware scanners; so you're safe with AVG, it has detected a few keyloggers on a few machine I worked on before. Keyloggers are almost in the spyware family; and very related to the trojan family; which are all detectable mediums on virus scanners.
